The Creative Origin
TCO / Edition 005

A company built from a creative origin.

The work,
in human
hands.

An idea takes form. A useful piece of work becomes something another person can carry.

01 / Work you can enter

From an idea
to an experience.

TCO is a service-led business supported by software and a lab. Its work starts with a human responsibility and asks what will make that responsibility easier to carry.

ChurchOS holds the company’s product commitment. The Studio and Lab preserve creative work and experiments with their own scope.

ChurchOS by TCO / The product

The church
comes first.

The service, the people, and the work surrounding Sunday. Follow the journey from a prepared program to a record someone can return to.

Explore the ChurchOS experience ↗

Public exploration uses synthetic data. Existing church access is a separate entrance.

Experiments with a record

The questions
on the bench.

A Lab study names what it explores, what it demonstrated, and what remains to be tested. Finding a prototype does not turn it into a product.

02 / The original purpose

Five directions.
One origin.

Corporate, Sports, Designs, Medical, Collabs. These original categories keep the company’s curiosity visible. Open a direction to see its present scope.

Corporate

The company’s institutional work: ChurchOS, service delivery, and the tools that support an ongoing responsibility. ChurchOS is TCO’s promoted product; internal infrastructure keeps its own status.

Sports

An original area of interest in movement, participation and performance. Retained as a purpose category; no current company product or qualified service is presented here.

Designs

Identity, imagery and interactive work. The retained Studio is an existing creative study; experiments remain labeled and attributed.

Medical

An original area of interest in health and care. This category establishes neither a clinical capability nor a medical service. Personal experiments retain their ownership.

Collabs

Work made with other people, with contributions and responsibilities credited. A collaboration becomes a company commitment through an explicit agreement.

03 / TCO Basic · A shared way to continue

Work that
can teach.

Receive and verify the source. Preserve a version. Reopen it, compare what changed, and ask for review. Recover what is needed and leave a usable handoff.

The same method can support different work while its owner, data and decision stay in their own context.

Try the retained fictional approval example ↗

Church task / An illustrative learning path

A corrected program.

Receive the correction with its source. Preserve the draft, compare the exact revision, and bring it to the church’s approver. Reopen the record and hand the approved version to the responsible operator.

Creative task / An illustrative learning path

A poster that changed.

Keep the original and revised composition. Compare the change, request the owner’s review, and retain the decision with the version. Another person can reopen the material and understand what comes next.

These examples explain the method; human learning and independent operation retain their own proof. Shared method does not transfer church data or personal ownership.

04 / What survived the process

Leave enough
for the next
person.

The previous edition asked us to keep moving forward. This edition gives that movement a destination: work that remains understandable when its maker steps away.

Keep the origin. Credit the contribution. Make the next action clear. Preserve the difference between an experiment, a delivered piece, and a responsibility someone has accepted.

Phil’s personal practice and TCO’s company work meet through his contribution; each keeps its own history and ownership.
